Anyone have allergies in pregnancy and child turned out okay?

Hi everyone,
I am 22 weeks pregnant and have had terrible allergies throughout this pregnancy. There is not a day that goes by that my mouth isn't itching or tingling and my eyes are not streaming.
Today I discovered that there is a link between allergic responses in mothers and children who have autism.
I am quite worried now. Our nephew has severe autism and I will be honest, it's not something I think I could cope with as I already have a serious health condition that brings a lot of worries to my life (cancer gene).
My question is, did any of you suffer from allergies throughout your pregnancy and your child turned out okay?
I apologise for the insensitive question I am asking.
Thank you

Hi, I know this is a very old thread, but just commenting on the off-chance you’ll see this and be able to update? I’m in a very similar boat to you and would be interested to hear your experiences post this thread being made x

There is a good recent meta-analysis here

The important info is:

Regarding maternal allergy and autism, two studies reported positive association 16, 18], with one reporting a notably high odds ratio of 2.5 for allergies diagnosed in the second trimester 16], whereas two studies found no evidence for an association 40, 41] (see Table 2).

There appears to be a stronger link with those who have asthma and some other auto immune conditions.

I've had a look at both the studies which found a link and the one which had a 2.5 odds ratio risk concerned women who were diagnosed with allergies in their second trimester. The other study found a small link, but only with higher functioning autism, it didn't affect intellect.

Maternal atopic conditions and autism spectrum disorder: a systematic review - European Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
