When to see a doctor about a skin lesion?

I’m sure I’ve had a red bump on my skin for a while but it’s grown and got a bit scaly.

I’ve tried to pick it of and it just bleeds. It’s uneven and growing.

Do I make an appointment with my GP and ask them to have a look? I’ve used one of those apps which wasn’t too help.

Anyone know how much dermatologists cost on Manchester?

@TheGrumpyGoat

I have one that is very similar OP… I’ve had it for 10 years! Every so often I panic and get it checked and they poke it and say ‘it’s only surface deep so it’s probably fine’.
Great thanks. Did they give you a name?

Not sure what GP said, I think he said I don’t need to see dermo usually but because I’ve spent a lot of time in the sun I’m seeing them in 2 weeks.
