Petrified I have a brain tumour

Long story short, I've been having dull headaches every day for the last 10 days. It started off with what I thought was a sinus infection as I had pain behind the eyes/bridge of nose and teeth following a cold, and I had some orangey discharge out of that nostril. Gp prescribed steroid nasal spray over the phone so never saw me in person to check this.

Every day since then I've had a dull headache at the front of my head, along with random stabbing pains at the side of my head (happens around 3/4 times per day for 4 seconds max and although on the right mostly it happens on the left too) and I'm petrified this means I have a brain tumour.

My face has started tingling today on the tip of my nose etc. I had a twitching eye 2 days ago. A twitching leg the week before that.

I've spent hours and hours trawling google and all it seems to come back to is brain tumour. I find myself constantly testing my Eyesite to see if it's blurry and I just feel I've got every single symptom listed on the internet as soon as I read it.

I already suffer from health anxiety so it's sent me into overdrive. I wake up every morning and just feel so anxious that I'm going to die but the gp has just said it's tension headaches and there are no flags to point to anything sinister and that the tingling sensations etc are anxiety so I'm no further forward. Surely a tension headache wouldn't last so long?

Can anyone offer any advice as to what I should do next? I'm so frightened.

I know I should take this advice myself but strangely anxiety can manifest in our bodies even if we don't feel anxious, you've only had a baby recently aswel so hormones are probably playing a part maybe?
My pain/pressure comes and goes, and moves around, im pretty sure now it is my sinuses but the anxiety of the what ifs keep me stuck,
Could it be your sinuses aswel?
Even of you Google anxious headaches, there is millions of people that get tension headaches
I think maybe once you get the all clear from your mri you will be a bit more relaxed about things x

@solomonsfish85 hey, thought I'd come back and update, I had my results Friday which all showed as normal from the MRI scan, which I was so happy about. So I thought these pains would start to ease, but there still here, still the same 😞 I was hoping to leave it a couple of days and come back and say they have gone. Going on four weeks in a couple of days, every day, every hr these pains so I'm just not bloody sure what it is. Very tempted to start the sertaline tablets. How have you been feeling? Hoping yours have shifted?

Hiya @Mumof2xxx87
Glad all the results came back OK, at least that's a weight off your worries!
Mine had been coming and going again this week, I have the doctor Thursday, going to ask for some blood tests to check iron, ferritin etc see if anything is showing up,
Pressure hasn't been that bad but just there which makes me think something has to be up, I don't know I'm just frustrated
Have you decided to take the tablets yet? Maybe they might make a difference?

Just thought I would update as I hate reading threads and seeing no outcome . I did start taking sertraline, just over a week ago. The headaches have gone .... I honestly did not think anxiety or tension could do that to my body , I really didn't want to take the sertraline as I have never taken anything like that before but am very relieved to be free from the headaches. Just under four weeks of pretty much constant pain in my head, acupuncture , massages and private MRI scan and I the end the sertaline made them go away. Hope you are feeling better @solomonsfish85
