Can I send my dd to school when she is on antibiotics

Dd said her ear hurt this morning-- she's had a cold for a few days...I kept her off school and took her to GP. dr says it is the beginnings of an ear infection.
Given her antibiotics and ear drops. She seems a lot better
Could she go back to school tomorrow?
Would the teacher be able to give her the antibiotics or shall I wait till she gets home from school?

I think if they're on antibiotics, the school will say they're not well enough to attend.

DS1's school won't give antibiotics for that reason and they must be kept off till the course is ended.

Hope she's better soon.

She's fine to go to school - dd's school don't expect them to stay off with ear infections.

Teachers are usually not allowed to give medicine, although in some schools you can fill in a form to allow the TA to administer. And you should be able to go into school and give the medicine yourself. Ask at the school office or ask her teacher.

How often does she have to take it? If it's three times a day then she'd be OK having it after school but four times a day might be more difficult.

Oh that's good news
She is only supposed to have it three times a day, so I could prob get away with giving before school, after and then before bed couldn't I?
I have just been promoted and this is my first week in the new role. Of course if she was very ill I would keep her off all week but she has been fine today--eating well, making christmas cards etc
