... but he isn't 100%. Is this one you should steer clear of if they're not all that well? He has the cough / high temperatures at night bug. He's obviously not well as he's pale, tired early and falling asleep all the time during the day.

Just wanted some other opinions as I know our practise nurse thinks I'm some mad woman as I've already cancelled DS2's MMR jabs twice (he's been ill on and off for a month or so - nothing serious, just coughs, colds, temperatures, upset tummies....)

Personally, I would wait until he is well.

The normally take their temp before, they don't give it if there is a temp as it could hide any reactions, tell them you'll make an appointment with your gp nurse to have it done later.

wait until he's well. My daughter had the cough/temp - was impatient to get jabs done, bullied the nurse a bit into giving it to her, payback was 2 weeks of sick daughter, 104 degree temperatures, vomiting, etc etc - horrible time, felt like an awful mummy!
