Just that really.

I am interested to know what these show. The one where you can see the pj legs (!) is the second part.

Where did you have it done?

Donkeysjanetdonkeys · 10/08/2021 11:52

At home.
Paramedics.

It’s only a 3 lead ECG which gives limited info, and it’s not a perfect trace but from what I can see it looks normal - sinus rhythm, with a normal heart rate.

Paramedics would also have flagged up if anything of concern - they are excellent at looking at and interpreting ECGs.

CTR1000 · 10/08/2021 12:03

As ever though, if you have concerns about symptoms etc speak to your GP/111!

Donkeysjanetdonkeys · 10/08/2021 12:04

Thank you. The heart rate was 100.

I was taken in to hospital and another one was done and some blood tests. Obviously nothing major wrong as I am out, . I was just intrigued to see whether that kind of 'waviness' meant anything.

Waviness just means the trace wasn’t perfect - normally because one of the stickers wasn’t quite sticky enough or the patient was moving around!

AnnaMagnani · 10/08/2021 12:07

The waviness just means it's not a very good ECG tracing, sorry. No clinical significance at all.

Donkeysjanetdonkeys · 10/08/2021 12:09

OK, great . Thank you! It's not often you get your hands on your own ECG so I wanted to nose at what it might mean!

I had blood test on my heart so I know all is OK.

It's not a good trace unfortunately but if done by paramedics appropriate action would have been taken

Yes, I almost certainly was...
