Can anyone give advice on torticollis in babies please?

Hi, I've asked my gp to refer ds3 (7 months) because I'm pretty sure he has torticollis and she agrees.
I think it is quite mild, luckily. But I am worried that he will always go round looking like his neck's been snapped
I would really appreciate any advice on what to expect and of course am eager to hear any stories you have to tell!

My DD had this at birth - they said it was due to her position -she was back to back, ended with ventouse delivery doctor had job getting her out so (I think) they said they twisted her neck whilst trying to pull her out - hence the torticollis.

She was referred to a Paedatrician because of this, her head was totally flat on the one side because she would always sleep on the one side due to the torticollis.

The Paedatrician referred her to the Physiotherapist (she was brilliant) and DD had several sessions with her & she would show me exercises to do with DD to help her to move her head - it did help a bit but it was hard work.

Maybe they will refer your ds to a physiotherapist.

Do you think this was down to the birth? Does he tend to sleep on the one side?

I hope this makes a bit of sense as I am typing extra fast in a bit of a rush.

Thanks jingly
The birth itself was uncomplicated, although he was lying with the left side of his head wedged into my left pelvis in the last few weeks of my pg which certainly makes sense of the way he holds his head now iyswim.
He's been such a miserable baby that he never lay down long enough to develop a bald patch, let alone a flat head .
Have the stretching exercises helped your dd? You say they helped 'a bit' does that mean her head is still held to one side?
