I'm on hold to 111 but when I take a deep breath I get a sharp pain under my left breast and I feel like I can't get a deep enough breath. I'm getting anxious about it as well which is making it worse. Is anyone free to talk? I'm on my own..my husbands working till midnight and I've only got my little one in the house so I'll have to ring him back from work.

How are you OP? Did you get seen. It is true that this can just be muscular pain, or even anxiety, but it could also very much be a lung collapse, especially if the pain is when you breath in deep and you really do find yourself not being able to take more in.

Hope all is ok.

So I always hate it when I read threads without any conclusion.. so my neighbour took my baby girl in. Husbands work was slammed and wasn't answering his phone. I know her well enough and dd didn't even wake up when I passed her over the fence to her. Paramedics came and did an ekg which showed all normal..a little high heart rate but id got myself very anxious and scared which is just my anxiety when I'm getting that way. It looks muscular like a lot of people said. I have a very physical job and am always lifting and running about. So thanks everyone for last night..a and e fantastic. Said I did the right thing and that pain there isn't to be messed about
