Would you remove a stitch yourself at home?

I have one stitch in the side of my nose following a biopsy.
And an appointment tomorrow to remove it that I am going to struggle to get to after school - can't take time off and also have my covid jab the same evening in a different town.
It looks 100% healed with no redness, discharge or scabs in sight.
I'm very, very tempted to follow the advice online about removing it myself. Lots of how to pics etc.

Wwyd?

Eeeekk!
I would probably faint, bang my head and need more stitches if I tried that Grin

I know it wasn't oozing, but did nobody think to video this for Sporner Corner? Asking for a friend.

Would have been terribly disappointing I feel. Over in a flash!

Totally. I used tweezers after my rhinoplasty. Obviously wouldn’t recommend if the wound was still fresh.

Yup. I'd do it. Sometimes they can be a bit gunky. My cat always removed her own.
