Would you travel for dental implants? Brighton implant clinic

Hi All. It's a very long story, but I really need dental implants. 3, to be exact.
It would cost me circa 7k to have this done where I live in Gloucestershire.

I have read online reviews for Brighton Dentak implant clinic, which are really positive. They set a guide price of £1145 per implant, which is way more affordable.

Does anyone know anything about them?

And for those of you who've had implants- would you have an issue with being 3.5hours away from the implant clinic? If so, why?

Thanks all Smile

Does the 7K include the crowns/ X-rays/ post op app etc?

Katefoster · 08/07/2021 15:20

Because the price of £1145 per implant prob won't include all of that and it may add it to being similar/more so I'd check that first

Yeah there's quite a lot of steps to a dental implant so be prepared to make lots of trips and make sure the price is all inclusive

I had an implant last year.

There are sooo many appointments, I definitely wouldn't have wanted to be more than 30 minutes away.

opalescent · 08/07/2021 18:29

Oh that's really interesting...I'd sort of thought it might be 3-4 appointments in total!
Maybe being 3.5 hours away would be a nightmare..

@Katefoster it seems to be all inclusive!

I would just see what exactly is included in each price. Another thing to consider is if you've had any X-rays to see how much bone you have as if there's not enough you'll need a bone graft which is pricey so just some kind of hidden costs it's better to have a full consultation with X-rays and a proper treatment plan and prices. Implant clinics are great but they're a specialist practice so are normally more expensive that's why I'm abit dubious about it being so cheap- there will be stuff added on

Sorry x post. That does look very reasonable tbf'
