Weeping oedema end of life patient.

I have a relative in hospice nearing the end if it's relevant. One of the most troubling symptoms which they can't do much for is this weeping oedema in the legs. I was wondering if anyone had dealt with this situation before and knew of any products or tips that they found useful. Is there maybe some sort of wetsuit/compression stocking mashup around.
I did google and could only find out about dressings. They don't want to pad him out too much as it will remove what little mobility he has left.

I've no help on the legs, but just wanted to offer a virtual hand hold Thanks

I’ve seen this in a relative towards the end and it is distressing to witness. Endless disposable pads were used and that’s all (in hospital). I think it was too late for any kind of compression.
It is causing distress to the patient? And have you talked to the hospice about how they usually manage it?

Sorry, @Nousernameforme, I’ve just seen this is a few days old.

No worries, I'm in iso at moment but as far as I am aware they are just dressing and redressing them. They weren't wanting to use too much in the way of padding as it was limiting mobility, but from what I've heard mobility has decreased now to a point that's no longer a concern. So they might just be padding him out.
