Hi everyone,

I know probably none of you are doctors but wondering if you have experienced these symptoms. I just want to know what's wrong with me.

I have been waking up with flu like symptoms and headaches which could be sinuses.
I also have this pain in my lower right back on right side. It feels like something pressing against my right side which is affect my arms, legs.
I have constantly pain in arms and legs. After a few hours of standing legs I struggle to stand. Even my legs start throbbing. I can't lift with my right slight swollen than other arm. I thought carpal tunnel. (which I do have on one arm but forgot which one).
Pains in hands, feet too.
Even if I have had a good night sleep I am waking up tired feel just no energy. It's such a struggle it's making me grumpy and with the pain with my lower back, legs.

I also struggle to remember things.

It's really disturbing my life to the point like today worry how I will get through another shift at work. I do a lot of standing too.
I take painkillers but don't seem to working these ones.

Any advice please? Or anyone felt the same.

Hello @Richtea2 I thought I should reply as I was a GP until recently. First off have you been tested for Covid as this could all be Long Covid or a similar post viral condition? You probably also need a general blood and urine screen to check for infection, kidney problems and autoimmune conditions. Depending on your age could you be perimenopausal as that will make you ache a lot too.
If I were you I would contact the surgery, maybe with an econsult online, and ask for help. I would book you in for some tests and chat it through on the phone. If they are all normal then it is like post viral and will go away but you don’t want to miss a diagnosis of something serious. Keep taking gentle exercise if you can and mild painkillers like paracetamol. Avoid ibuprofen until you know your kidneys are okay and drink lots of fluids.
Hope you feel better soon

I had to do questionnaire on fibromyalgia. Had pain in legs for quite some time now. Say from 2016 onwards had a shoulder thing had physio they said spine. It's nothing like Covid19 because I had a check with new doctor and he was concerned muscle weakness right side. Theres only one thing you mention about being the change.
