I think my brain aneurysm's suddenly grown a bit more....

So usually a few years ago I was diagnosed with a 4mm brain aneurysm after a CT scan for recurring headaches, and sporadic blurry vision.
Consultant said I'd only need surgery if it got to 7mm, so in the mean time 'no smoking, no coffee, no alcohol, and keep taking the blood pressure meds'. Which I've done. The 'no stress' bit is the hardest, as we have two boys with significant SEND, so I'm always stressed and sleep deprived. I've also done a VLCD to lose some weight. Had a headache over the last couple of days, but that's not particularly unusual, as I do get them quite a lot. But not usually for days at a time.
Anyway, I sneezed yesterday, and I felt the pressure in my brain. Now part of my head is slightly numb, like when anaesthetic is wearing off. I know it's not blown - I would be puking and my head would be far more painful than it is if it had. But is it really worth bothering the GP over? I'm always having tests for one thing or another, I literally just had a CT scan for my kidneys yesterday, and I feel like I'm always going to the GP for them to send me off for a test which either comes back clear, or with not much wrong. But if there's someone who's been through something similar who knows more, that would help me feel I'm doing the right thing by just getting on with things.

Yep, sorry guys, all fine! I went to sleep with the decision to ring the gp in the morning and the headache's gone, the numbness is almost all back to normal and just still a bit of tinnitus. If it gets worse again I will go straight to a and e! Promise! Thank you all for your advice and well wishes though!

Glad you’re feeling better. It’s worth reading about ‘sentinel headaches’ if you aren’t aware of them already. And it’s worth discussing it with your GP still because if the aneurysm has grown you may have reached the threshold for intervention. HTH.

Thanks Greybeardy - just looked them up and yes, it does sound a bit like it was a sentinel headache. Will go to GP first thing Monday - thanks for the heads up on that one.
