Anyone with experience of similar to share?
I’m totally stunned. Waiting now for a wide local excision. Wondering what questions I should be asking & if there are any tests etc I should ask for. Thanks.

@GlencoraP I hope it's feeling ok now. Wait for results is rubbish.

@Apecks1eg I hope your surgery goes well tomorrow and you feel ok afterwards.

Still waiting final confirmation but looks like I'm having further surgery in a couple of weeks :(

Thanks @sunflowerdaisies. Sorry to hear you need more surgery. Do you know what you need to have done yet? I hope it is over & done for you soon & as easily as possible.

My dad had stage 1A, he had the op to remove the lesion but had to have it repeated as the margins weren't clear, he had a skin graft during the second op. His was on his temple, about the size of a £2 coin.

@Apecks1eg how are you feeling?

My next one will be a finger amputation down to first joint which will be pretty rubbish but needs doing!

@sunflowerdaisies I’m ok thank you. Feeling tired & a bit sore today. I expected yesterday to be much the same as having my biopsy, but it was more intense - in the operating theatre with all the equipment, staff & strangeness that comes along with that. I’ve been told keep my leg elevated as much as possible this week to maximise the chances of the skin graft taking, so more incapacitated than I expected to be too. But, glad it’s been done.
Sorry to hear you need an amputation. Do you have any idea when you will have the op? I hope you don’t have to wait too long.
