Sure she didnt hit her head when she fell over? If so, it may well be concussion.

S is there any way she may have got hold of something? Does she have it at the other end too?

LadyOfWaffle · 21/11/2007 23:23

the baby fell earlier?

BabiesEverywhere · 21/11/2007 23:25

she fell over a toy, bite her tongur seemed fine after.

Make sure NHS know she fell, they will probably say take her to A & E.

BabiesEverywhere · 21/11/2007 23:26

I don't think she hit her head, I thought she fell forward...but she seemed fine then

LadyOfWaffle · 21/11/2007 23:27

Probably coincidence but if the fall was bad enough to bite her tongue I guess it's not impossible she hit her head, or jolted it?

mymatemarmite · 21/11/2007 23:29

Crumbs your DD is toilet trained early!

Hope all is ok!

BabiesEverywhere · 21/11/2007 23:31

She is ok between throwing up bouts but I am too scared to put her to sleep in case she throws up again.

DooDoDooDoDoMaNuhMaNuh · 21/11/2007 23:43

Poor love - hope she's OK. And hope A and E not too busy.

BabiesEverywhere · 22/11/2007 02:40

Back home.

They wanted to keep her in to watch her over night but we asked to bring her home to watch ourselves.

She throw up every 15 minutes for hours but then stopped throwing up and started being smilie again, waving at the nurses etc.

After she held on to half a glass of water for 30 minutes, we were allowed home.

They think it is a nasty tummy bug.

Poor little thing, im having similar trouble with my ds (16 mths) hes thrown up 4 times tonight, twice all over me, once in his bed and once in mine, cant sleep now incase he does it again. Hope your little one gets better soon.

purpleflower · 22/11/2007 03:02

My DS had this a couple of weeks ago, doc said cooled boiled water and no food. He threw up all afternoon then had a really long nap. He was grouchy when he woke up but slept well again that night. He was fine after that but had some really discusting nappies for the next couple of days.

Hope she feels better soon.

DooDoDooDoDoMaNuhMaNuh · 22/11/2007 09:13

Poor thing, BE - hope you've had a settled night.

DS2 had a bug a few weeks ago - threw up in his car seat and his cot (hooray for being sick in straightforward places ) - he got over it very quickly, so hope the same is true for your DD.

LadyOfWaffle · 22/11/2007 10:15

Glad everything was ok (well, ish) x

BabiesEverywhere · 22/11/2007 13:16

Thanks for the posts

We were advised to keep her on water with salts or breastmilk. Limit the solids and watch her poo and if she starts throwing up again bring her back.

But she seems a lot better this morning, though she is now having a long nap this morning, to make up for being up practically all night....poor chick.
