Red blood spots on body (more after AZ vaccine)

I've got quite a few blood spots on me, had a few come over the last few years each year which are raised and probably cherry angiomas and looking online appears to be hormonal changes which cause and they are harmless normally so not concerned. A few have changed colour but GP wasn't concerned and looks like that can happen too.

Anyway, 30 April have first AZ vaccine and get red rash on both arms - look it up and appears to be covid arm and harmless, quite itchy but have allergies so itch maybe that. Also am getting night sweats every night since though is lessening but not normal for me. Don't think I have a temp and could just be as I am peri-menopause age.

Anyway now rash has died down and I've been left with more of these red blood spots and they seem to be increasing every day a bit. Some are flat, some are raised. I normally have a normal FBC and normal heart, no blood clotting issues. Its been almost 5 weeks now and nothing happened so presumably OK at the moment but jittery about second vaccine incase it is a problem. Has anyone had this?

The only thing I do have which may increase risk a bit is small vessel disease (brain one) though no idea if that does really raise risk. Thanks

Everything is probably fine, but your last sentence leads me to ask you to please consult your Dr later. If you tell the receptionist that you need an an emergency appointment (again, it probably isn't serious, but you don't know, it just could be), you should be given at least a phone emergency appointment with the GP later on today. If the receptionist says that you will have to wait until next week for your appointment, tell her as politely as you can manage, that you will have to take yourself to A&E instead then, as you think that the rash/blood spots need to be seen today. Please mention your known problem when you talk to the Dr, I know it will be in your notes, but most GP's have to skim read your notes, and may have forgotten about that particular concern.

You need to speak to a doctor, and I personally wouldn't be satisfied with a gp. I would speak to an expert regarding your vessel condition.

Please see a doctor. Any rash after a vaccination should be investigated.

Oooh that's interesting, I'm also covered in them all over my torso. It's like I have measles but they don't go, just multiply.

Thanks very much. Will check with a doctor. I just saw can be linked to low folate, I do have that and supposed to take supplements so will get some more. They aren't like a rash now, very spread out but more each day.
