Okay, I am feeling a bit worried about the following but rationally don't really think I'm unwell or anything.

Since January I have lost about 15-18kg. I was carrying a bit of weight after baby and think I might've been one of those who carries a bit when bf. DD stopped bf end Jan and weight has been going off since.

I had a "funny" freckle so dr referred me to dermatologist due my mother having had a melagnoma (sp). They said nothing out of the ordinary but were a bit surprised at weight loss.

I am permanently tired and cold and have low level tummy ache quite a lot of the time.

In the last couple of weeks I seem to have lost another 2.5kg.

Having said this, I had a tummy bug and dd has been under the weather for about a week. I'm under quite a lot of stress at the mo and am a single parent.

I don't not eat but I guess I don't actually eat that much either. Sometimes I don't have time, sometimes I'm too tired to bother and sometimes I'm just not hungry. Supper could be steak or toast iyswim!

This weekend I'm struggling to find the energy to do the basic tasks and just feel like I want to sleep constantly.

I guess I should see the GP but won't actually have time for that this week due to work comittments etc.

So, am I just worrying due to generally feeling under the weather or should I be more concerned?

Fed up with feeling bleugh tho!

I have no real idea, but it certainly sounds to me like it would be worth getting a GP to check you over - a few of those symptoms (although not all) sound slightly like a mate of mine who had a thryoid issue (easily treated). Probably not, but I'd get someone who knows something to give you the once over.
Probably a stupid qu, but do you get any time to yourself?

Hmm you could just be run down and if you're not eating well then that will contribute. The low level tummy pain and weight loss need to be checked out.

Really you just need to go to the Dr's and have some blood tests to check for thyroid probs etc which could explain many of your symptoms.

I also think get a GP to check you over, just to be on the safe side. It sounds to me like you have a high stress life due to work/single parenthood, you don't always eat a full meal (I was like this when I was on my own, I just couldn't always be bothered) and you have a young child to cope with on your own. I'm not surprised your body is complaining a bit.

thanks, hadn't thought of thyroid. was just fast forwarding to something very serious and scary!

i am in the run up to moving house on top of work and H issues so really could do without feeling so grotty.

no, don't really get any time to myself altho dd does go to bed quite early and i have quiet evenings. don't actually seem able to relax then tho.

got a conference this week then a girls night out and spa on friday tho so that'll be a nice bit of me time!
