Colibri anti-moth repellent sachets and babies

Is it safe to use Colibri (buy them at Lakeland) sachets in my wardrobe with a 3 month old baby around?

House infested and all my precious clothes being eaten away so have resorted to using these anti-insect sachets.

Baby of course won't eat sachet - so am not worried about ingestion - however there is a strong smell in the room now where the wardrobe is. Is it safe for my baby to smell this Colibri scent? Any info much appreciated thanks!

I have no idea about Colibri but here are some alternative moth beating ideas

Firstly it's the larvae that do the eating not the moths so if you find something has a moth hole you need to wash it to ensure the larvae are removed

ALWAYS launder clothes and other textiles before storing them away (even brand new clothes) - moths are attracted to bacteria on (mainly) natural fabrics

moths dislike the smell of dried lavender, rosemary, cedar wood and/or bay leaves so hang some in your wardrobe and place among drawers etc (you can get plastic bags impregnated with lavender for any longer term storage needs or expensive items such as cashmere)

Vacuum regularly, about once a week for each member of your household including pets, so 2 adults, a baby and a cat = 4 times a week!
(don't forget to do under the bed and other bits of funiture - they don't need to be done as regularly but should be done at least once a month)

I'm not jumping to conclusions about your cleaning habits at all but the only safe, green way to keep insects out of your house and away from your silk knickers is to follow the above instructions and they really really do work!

Na no such thing as permanent beastie residents! Don't let your self be beaten!

BTW looked up you colibri repellants - they are non-toxic and green and use cedar and lavender so totally fine for the bairn!
