Maybe posting on the wrong section here but DD came out of school this afternoon very excited as she had a wobbly tooth. DD is 5 next month. I wasn't expecting wobbly teeth for a few more years yet is this normal or should I see the dentist.

When my DD was in reception class lots of her friends had wobbly teeth/ gaps, so I guess it's quite normal (though it did seem to get quite competitive ).

I told her she wasn't allowed to wobble her teeth until she was 6.

It fell out this morning. Telling her not to wobble it was like asking a fish not to swim!
I believe the tooth fairy's rate has increased since I was a child. All I got was 20p.

Yup, inflation sucks. Ds has informed me the going rate for a tooth is £1. He is 5 1/2 and no wobbles yet, much to his disgust.

dd is desperate to loose a tooth - most of her classmates seem to have lost a few - she's 6

All children are different My ds1 didn't lose any teeth till he was 7. His younger brother had all his adult teeth including all his wisdom teeth by the time he was 14. unusual according to our dentist but not unheard of
