What is this toilet paper like discharge? TMI

Sorry tmi, but feel like I am going a little bit crazy. A few months ago I noticed a strange discharge, not thrush but a pasty white discharge that looks like tiny lines, almost like little bits of wet toilet paper. I treated myself with thrush. Didn't work. I thought it might be BV and doctor gave me antibiotics. Took those for a week, nothing happened. I then told doctor who said I may have a STI so did all tests from that. Came back all clear. I returned to doctors for further tests and all came back clear. When I spoke about this discharge she said it sounds normal but it's not! Never had it before in my life and am embarrassed before sex. If I dont shower I am covered in this strange discharge. Sorry, tmi. Anyone else had this? What can I do?

Is it inside your labia and do you also have any sore or itchy areas on the inside labial skin?

If so it sounds like what I had a while ago, which was eventually diagnosed as vulvar eczema. The white bits were actually skin coming off. They looked a bit like those little bits of rubber you get when you rub out pencil.

To treat it I needed to stop using any kind of body wash or soap in the area and use a steroid cream (Locoid). It took quite a while....

Thank you @minipie yes very similar to what you describe. Sore and itchy and sometimes very thin tears at top of vulva. How did you get it diagnosed? Doctor has been pretty useless here.

It took a lot of time and seeing quite a few different GPs. I eventually got referred to a vulvar dermatologist who diagnosed it.
