I have had these little flare up spots for a number of years now and have not really paid them much attention. They start off like little red pustules, then slowly turn orange and flaky. They can be sore and/or itchy if they are in an awkward place...but are only ever on the bottom of my feet (actually - possibly starting on my fingers recently.) The reason why I wondered about psoriasis is that I am currently being investigated for a related condition, and if it is psoriasis then the other condition is more likely to be what I think it is. Can anyone tell from these pics if it is/could be psoriaisis? And can you get it in only a couple of very specific places on the body??

I have very similar in the arches of my feet. Never treat them , don't seem to bother me except the odd scratch !

Looks like pustular eczema to me, but I am not a doctor, or even medically trained.

It looks like the same thing I get on my hands. It's a type of eczema and it flares up now and again. Hand sanitizer has made it worse. I get betnovate prescribed and it helps but doesn't stop it returning.

Its pompholyx (dyshidrotic (sp?) excema). I have it on my feet. It can be really itchy.

I get that on my feet been told its eczema, though I find it much less itchy than my eczema on the rest of my body. My usual steroid creams work on it

It looks to me like a form of psoriasis known as PPP (psoriasis palmoplantar pustulosis). It's a bit of a bugger, but being auto-immune it's more a case of therapeutic treatment. Good luck with it.

These kind of skin conditions are often misdiagnosed and/or mistreated because it's a highly specialist area. The prescribing nurse at my local GP was adamant it was a fungal infection. She refused to listen and was actually a bit of a pain in the arse.

I eventually went privately to a consultant dermatologist after 3 years of being messed about. Since diagnosis I have found ways to live with it.

Was going to suggest this.

I get it really badly in my hands and sometimes in my feet.

Although since using hand gel like my hands are alcoholic it's disappeared Confused

Thanks everyone for comments....having googled the suggestions made here it looks like the eczema and PPP present very similarly so will be intersting trying to get a diagnosis!
