Lump on armpit

Hey everyone last night I noticed when I touched my armpit there's a lump underneath the skin. It's not visible when you look you have to feel for it, it was sore moving my arm last night however this morning it's only sore to touch. It's about the size of a golf ball. Any ideas what this could be?

Sorry I didn't reply, I thought I had! So my lump actually disappeared by the end of the week - I think it was a raised/irritated gland from the burn on my arm. @crwodne how are you?? Have the anti biotics helped? Hoping you are feeling better :) xx
