Does anyone else feel "a bit cystitis-y" very frequently?

I was just wondering if anyone recognises this as I can't find anything online.

Probably once a fortnight I feel very mild cystitis symptoms. So a sort of vague burning feeling in my urethra, the feeling that I need to wee, even if I don't, and a "heavy" feeling in my bladder.

It normally sorts itself out if I drink loads of water and use a hot water bottle for the discomfort. It's nowhere near as bad or as painful as fully blown cystitis but it is starting to become inconvenient.

Anyone else get this?

I used to til I saw D-mannose recommended on here, total game changer. I took one dose every time I got the first tingle of a symptom and that was usually enough to stop it in its tracks. That happened a few more times after I started using it and then I noticed it was happening a lot less and now it doesn't happen at all! Can't recommend it strongly enough tbh, it's done exactly the same for my DM as well.

Yes! Sitting at my desk at work yesterday I had the dreaded sore uncomfortable feeling, it seemed to go away but I do get it quite often.

I agree with all the posters who said D-Mannose. I take one every morning and another if I feel these symptoms (usually if dehydrated). So far, it has worked wonders and I used to regularly suffer with cystitis requiring multiple doses of antibiotics. I was waiting on an appointment with a specialist when the first lockdown happened. So glad I discovered these as (understandably) that appointment has never happened.

Just in case the other posters haven’t convinced you...take d mannose!
And reduce irritants you eat and drink like alcohol, spicy foods, caffeine etc
