Finger wart, best treatment please?

I've got a wart on my finger, well I think it is. It's a very small raised lump, with red coloured dark centre and it's so sore.

I've tried Wartner and some expensive freeze spray stuff that hasn't done anything. I need to get rid of it as it's driving me mad.

My DD had a wart on her knee and the GP gave it one treatment of liquid nitrogen and it fell off. However, it's very unlikely I can get it treated this way at the moment.

So what's the best treatment out there to get rid of it please.

Best treatment we've found is the duct tape method, so you are 'starving' the wart. You completely cover it for several days, wash and repeat until completely gone. It's worked a treat for a really stubborn verruca ds had and my dd's wart.

A cotton wool pad soaked in Apple cider vinegar (the proper stuff with the mother) taped to DS finger did the trick, took several days and changed it daily, probably same effect as above post of smothering it

I'd recommend you show this to a pharmacist or ideally a GP (you can sometimes email photographs to the surgery for advice). The fact that this is painful sounds a bit strange, I wouldn't expect to walk to be painful. I have something out of my hand and it turned out to be something called a pyogenic granuloma so best not to assume without checking first. What I had wasn't serious but I did have to have it removed surgically.

Wart not walk!

I have a wart on my hand. It doesn't hurt at all, doesn't have any sensation. Not sure if warts vary in colour but mine is just the same colour as my normal skin. I also think you should show to GP or pharmacist to check what it is before you try and treat it.

Warts on your hand shouldn't usually hurt, agree you should show a pharmacist or.GP before you try anything else.
