Is it too early for hay fever?

I live in North London and have been suffering with hay fever symptoms. Streaming eyes, feeling itchy and a slight cough (clearing throat ). Have googled and there is no pollen count available. Anyone else suffering or is it just me? I had a Pfzier jab earlier this week but to be fair , I dont think it is related .

No, it isn’t too early, we are all suffering already. I think it is tree pollen.

I’m in SW London and have felt mild hay fever symptoms twice this week, while out at the park.

Me too - I've been snotty all week, sneezing. Asked by the Zoe app to get a covid test (negative result). I've concluded I just need to start my cetirizine earlier than usual this year!

Think it's because we are outside more, windows opened, and it's been mild this week.

Me too! It's never started in February before but it has been very springlike these last few days so I guess it's just come early.

And for those who cba to click, yes there’s pollen around Grin

Nope.. Pollen is about already I think, my poor dog suffers terribly in spring so is on antihistamines for a few months a year. His irritations started this week already and his cone of shame is on. His ears and feet become incredibly itchy, so he then continuously bites his feet and scratches himself until he bleeds. Roll on autumn again.

Hayfever season has definitely started for me. My only clear months are December and January these days, my hayfever has got worse and earlier each year.

I’ve been snuffly for weeks 🤧

Herbie0987 · 28/02/2021 11:49

Hay fever isn’t always related to pollen, the worst time for me is the Autumn with mould spores. You can have symptoms anytime of year.
