Hi all, hoping someone has some advice. Few weeks of cystitis symptoms, called dr last week and was prescribed a three day course of antibiotics. Finished course two days ago and this morning I’ve woken up with worse symptoms than before! I’ve been sitting on the toilet basically since I woke up with a feeling of deep pressure on my bladder and the constant urge to pee. I’ve taken two paracetamol but can anyone else recommend anything to relieve the feeling of constantly needing to pee (when I say constant, I literally mean that. I’ll get off the loo and 5-10 mins later I’m back in the bathroom again). Please help someone!!! Oh and yes I’ll be contacting the drs again as soon as they open. TIA!

Thank you all, day 4 of 7 day course and feeling so much better. I had no idea of how useless a 3 day course would be. Hoping when I finish this course I’ll be as good as new again!

Oh dear, this is me tonight. I had a really bad UTI a couple of years ago and I am so scared to go through that again.
I’m starting to feel a bit shivery. It only started a couple of hours ago, but now I can’t be off the toilet for more than 10 minutes.
The NHS site says treat at home with water and paracetamol, but I can’t sleep like this and there’s no way I can be at work and going to the loo every 10 minutes!

Try waterfall manoose. You get powder or tablets. It's available online from a company called Sweet Cures. I swear it's brilliant. Tons better than anything else I tried. I also drink and drink and drink water or herbal tea as soon as I feel a niggle. Flush it right away.

All my life I have suffered with UTIs. They are the absolute pits.

@StarcourtMall no you poor thing. How are you feeling this morning? Can you get a drs appt today? Perhaps you also need a course of antibiotics.

Hi all. I did finally get to sleep about 4am. Dr has given me antibiotics and I feel more comfortable, if still very achy and nauseous. UTIs really are dreadful and I really don’t see how people can “treat at home”. I wonder if that would be the advice if it was more common in men than women?
