Every bone in my body hurts. Could it be the cold?

I am a carer for my mum who lives a few miles away from me. As I am trying to protect her from Covid, I have stopped taking public transport and every day I walk to the shops, then walk to Mum’s, then walk home again. It’s about 7 miles a day.

I was feeling quite good about the amount of exercise I was getting, but the last few days I have been in agony. Literally every bone in my body hurts.

I can’t work out why I am in so much pain. It is keeping me awake at night. Does anybody have any ideas? Could it be the cold? I have noticed the last couple of nights that my legs felt cold to the touch, in spite of having been home in my warm house for a couple of hours.

I would really appreciate any ideas of what it could be. Thanks.

Sorry forgot to say I was tested the same day and it came up positive. Cue 10 days of isolation for us all until boxing day.

I'm still not right tbh. Very fatigued. Getting better but still not there yet.

OP please arrange a Covid test. Plenty of people have tested positive with body aches as their only symptom, including my husband (aching calves and shoulder blades).

Also, and I mean this kindly, you don't need to go back to the shops for yogurt for your mum unless for medical reasons she can only eat yogurt.

I did the shopping for 3 sets of parents during lockdown one. They had me run ragged for various wants, being very specific about what they wanted. In the end I had to tell them that I would do my best but we were sticking to 'needs' where necessary. Making multiple trips to the shop is unfairly risky for you.
