Teen borderline blood test results on both liver and kidneys

Hello would anyone with medical expertise mind giving some idea as to what could be the reason for a 16 year old having borderline blood test results on both liver and kidneys?

Bit of background that I'll try to keep brief.
In good health generally other than mild asthma and allergies but had two serious illnesses back to back in October and November requiring hospitalisations.

Firstly was a life-threatening asthma attack caused by a chest infection (covid negative PCR and negative for antibodies since). Trearment was 16 nebulisers, supplemental oxygen, intravenous steroids and magnesium sulfate. Oral prednisolone and higher dose inhaled steroids upon discharge.

Was never really right for a while afterwards, very lethargic and forgetful, looked ill and struggled to function.
Few weeks later caught a stomach bug with high temperature and diahrrea for 5 days resulting in dehydration and upon examination a heart murmur was found. ECG was borderline but repeat a week later was ok and echocardiogram early Jan was fine.

He was diagnosed in early December with post-viral fatigue and had bloods taken but never heard back so assumed they were fine. At a respiratory follow up today the nurse commented that liver and kidney results were borderline- no action.

Is this likely to be linked to any of the above? Would you request a retest at a later date? Or nothing at all to be concerned about?
Many thanks in advance.

Depends entirely on what you mean by 'borderline'. Without being able to see results and correlate them with everything else it's impossible for anyone to comment meaningfully. Probably best to talk to the GP (or whoever ordered the bloods).
