Sharp pain in left hand side of chest when breathe or cough...any ideas?

Day 3 now. Sharp uncomfortable pain left hand side of chest but high up. Dont feel poorly but feel bit off in myself.

Any ideas?

I still in the back of my mind think is it something else. I can pin point it...literally say it's here. Very strange feeling

Sounds like costochondritis, as PP said, GloomyWaters. I have it, it comes and goes. It's an inflammation of the connective tissues on the ribcage.

Hey GloomyWaters. I'm doing OK at the moment. It tends to flare up when I'm feeling stressed, so I guess that's a good sign! How is it for you right now?

Comes and goes but like you stressy stuff sets it off. Ive piled the weight on too so going to try and shift some see if that helps

ME AGAIN...
Since yesterday Ive had the pain again .....really bad this time. As well as when I breathe Ive also got a sharp 'stitch like' pain same lefthand side bit lower down.

Im extremely stressed about something and very tired and emotional Im windering if its all linked.

Pain last night was scarey so Im going to ring the GP Monday. Doesnt feel right to sit here having pain

Hi @GloomyWaters I have something similar. Sharp pain left side of my chest when I breathe in deeply or for some reason when I lie on my right side it’s awful. Feels like a stitch. I went to the GP they think it’s a muscle pull/strain. X
