I warned against the dangers of glitter weeks ago

FrannyandGreenychordCarrier · 25/10/2007 21:35

oh no, no more glittery eyes?

that is a shame. Would be good if you could get it cleared up though

I went to the doctors today about my wonky foot (hoping for magic cure). My symptoms are "When I wear certain shoes it makes my foot hurt a lot"

he asked which shoes hurt "er, nice shoes" which shoes don't hurt "er, trainers"

"wear trainers then and don't wear the other shoes"

oh bugger

FrannyandGreenychordCarrier · 25/10/2007 21:36

oh he has suggested insole from chemist (sorry to hijack thread with foot news but it is relevant because....) will try insole with the black boots, if it doesn't fix it I will send them to you

Neverenoughpumpkins · 25/10/2007 21:36

Nail varnish remover can cause itchy eyes also.
(on your nails obviously-not directly applied to eyes)

squishie · 25/10/2007 21:36

ooh this is very important for your reading glasses. you will have to have these not these

ScaryMonsterStories · 25/10/2007 21:41

Franny...hijacking further...havn't read about your foot. This is probably a totally different thing and totally irrelevant but I wouldn't want you to give away shoes you love

MIL couldn't wear certain shoes. Anything wit a slight heel on gave her major pain on ball of her foor I think. She had it for years before she found a 'cure'.

She brought a instole thing/adapter foamy bit designed for 'hammer toe' (or foot or something) and she was cured. I think it was a couple of quid from betterware or kleeneze or one of those other catelogues that arrive through the dooor.

ScaryMonsterStories · 25/10/2007 21:42

LOL squishie

FrannyandGreenychordCarrier · 25/10/2007 21:50

oh thank you SMS

(really must get off cod's thread )

dr assures me an insole with help, I feel so silly I never thought of trying it myself before...

I have LOTS of shoes I cannot wear (ok quite a few are flip flops and I think I know I have to kiss them goodbye) but there are plenty others it would be FAB to wear again. I am really keeping my fingers (and toes) crossed

FrannyandGreenychordCarrier · 25/10/2007 21:51

'WILL' help, not 'with', sorry

MrsCarrot · 25/10/2007 21:53

all sorts of health problems can be solved by insoles according to my pharmacy, except maybe itchy eyes

moodlumtheWOOOHOOHOOhoodlum · 25/10/2007 21:55

Touche eclat good for skin, terrible for eyes. Allergic reaction every single blardy time.

I'm allergic to nickel (contct dermitis(sp). Lovely). I can wear glitter and Touche Elcat, so maybe it's the zinc?

Not that walk around like a 4 year old with blue, glittery eyeshadow on . Have black and silver glittr eyeliner.

boolepew · 25/10/2007 21:58

dazzle dust should be used sparingly (once a month) it's not eye friendly
