Abnormal blood tests-help please

Hello everyone
I’m panicking a bit and need a bit of a hand hold please.
I’ve just had some blood tests done because l’ve had rather a lot of bruises for no reason.
I went through the menopause over a decade ago.
I’ve just rung the surgery and they said
2 were normal but 2 ‘were outside of range’ but no further action is needed. I queried this and was told one was ‘liver’ and one was clotting but nothing further needed to be done.
I’ve had a horrible year for all sorts of reasons and now l’m panicking. I suppose the ‘no further action is needed’ and l should be reassured by that but l’m a bit of a worrier-l’m not going to phone the surgery back as l need to trust what they say but can anyone throw any light on why if a blood test is outside of the normal range l don’t need any treatment?

Ooh I hate it when results like this are given over the phone with no explanation! I once had a text from my surgery saying that my chest x rays showed scarring and bronchial thickening but don't worry! I worried!

Anyway, they've told you no further action is required so I'm guessing the results are just outside of normal parameters but that they aren't concerned about that. Obviously though you need a gp to explain this to you so ring them now, explain how worried you are and request a phone consultation today.

I think you’re right though-it’s ridiculous to say not to worry-l will try to ring them but l don’t hold out much hope of speaking to anyone as trying to get hold of them is rarer than hens teeth!!

I’d ring and just explain that you’ve been told your bloods aren’t within the normal range and that this is causing you real anxiety, that you need a gp to talk you through this. I’m sure that a gp will either ring you or will get an explanation to you via the receptionist. Hope you get some reassurance soon.
