Mc in July at just over 6 weeks. No complications or interventions needed, bleeding stopped within a week. Normally around 28-30 cycle, dead regular, no spotting prior to af arriving, just get a bleed for around 4/5 days - all very straight fwd.

First cycle after mc reached CD34, bad cramping for a couple of days around CD28.

Second cycle got to CD37 (over a week late), bad cramping for two days around CD28 again and sore boobs as if pg for the whole time leading up to af arriving.

This cycle is now CD34, have had very slight spotting - not enough to warrent a liner - brownish in colour, no fresh blood. Have had no cramping or any other af/pg symptoms.

How long did it take for peoples cycles to sort out after? Is this normal? Could I be pg - am now scared to test, due to the spotting even though it's very light. Very frustrated as have no idea what's going on and not making mc any easier to get over as body still feels mucked up. Would apprecaite any advice, thanks x

well in my experiance. Had mc at 7 wks in July. Bled for 7days after mc.
Af arrived on normal day, cycle regular and always on 7th of every month start bleeding.
2nd month i was 4 days late and quite light and had all symptoms of pg.
3rd month normal again. Id say see what happens in next couple of days.. Sorry if not much help!

Hi Twiga, how are you doing today? Has AF arrived in full force? Or have you tested?

My periods have been a bit erratic since my missed m/c in April. Took five weeks to arrive after my D&C. After that my cycle varied between 30 and 33 days (after being 28 days regular as clockwork), a lot heavier than before. Had an early m/c at 5 weeks and another quite long cycle of 31 days. It seems that m/c, no matter how or when they happen, messes everything up much more than I realised.

Sorry, not sure if this is what you needed to know really.

Hope everything sorts out very soon - have you been to the doctor's about it?

Twiga, when I had my m/cs it took about 3 cycles to get them back to where they were before, in terms of length and bleeding. The first period post m/c was always quite light and more like spotting for a couple of days, and cycle two a bit more 'normal' (for me) and again by 3rd cycle pretty much back to what I had before. hth

Hey MrsWednesday, I'm fine, just confused - not that it takes much - still no sign of af, still very light spotting, still too worried to test (tested on CD31, was bfn) - CD35 now. Might go and see gp at some point, as starting to find it all pretty frustrating.

Just wanted to say hi and that af arrived today, thank you for your messages - it's difficult to know what to expect as was my first pg and it's all a bit new in terms of what to expect/what's normal etc. Thanks for the reassurance and support x
