Hi All

I'm in desperate need of some help / advice.
I Have been constipated since Monday. Was able to pass stools on Monday / Tuesday but that feeling of something still present. But since Wednesday it's been extremely difficult and feel as if I'm
Completely blocked and when I use the toilet tiny amount of diarrhoea escape (Sorry TMI). I have had Movicol twice since Wednesday. Spoke to my Gp yesterday and he prescribed Glycerol suppository. I used one last night and still no luck. Am extremely uncomfortable Sad. I can feel that one stone like piece stuck in my rectum. I have tried everything possible but not able to get it out. Any advice will be valuable.
Thank you!!

Thank you so much for asking. I just logged in to update all of you. Today I made some progress. I passed more stool and I feel the rock like poo is also probably breaking.

I spoke to my gp and was given a prescription for enema but the pharmacy didn't have it so it will only come tomorrow.

Also feeling a bit better. I honestly thought it was never going to come out. Some hope now.

Thank you all so much for your support and kind words. It meant a lot to me xx

Sounds like enema time. I feel so sorry for you. I remember looking after a lady post C Section. She had awful left sided abdo pain. I administerd an enema and put an out of order sign on the toilet door so she had privacy. Poor woman was really backed up. She had had a general anaesthetic and everything had stopped. She was so much better afterwards.

Looks like endofthelinefinally. I will try enema once I get the kit from the pharmacy.

My bum cheeks are so painful and sore sitting on the bloody toilet. Unbelievable !

I feel and completely sympathise with anyone going through this. It's cruel.

Just wanted to let you all
Know that finally the laxatives and suppositories worked. And I have been able to
Pass stools. Now it's the other way around. It's chucking it down.

Thank you for all your support x

Oh thank goodness. Now make sure you have every anal fissure and haemorrhoid treatment known to man until your poor bottom recovers.

LizzieSiddal · 16/12/2020 19:23

Thank goodness for that! Thanks for updating. I’d been thinking if you Grin

Twinkie01 · 16/12/2020 19:34

Start taking a bimuno prebiotic in your hot drink each night before bed. It's worked a treat for me after an anal fissure got me on the same position as you.

Dr also gave me some cream to help heal the fissure and numb the pain. Can't remember what it was called but he said it would give me a headache if I used too much so someone might be knowledgeable on here as to what it was.

endofthelinefinally · 16/12/2020 19:52

Probably proctagesic.

Bumbleb79 · 17/12/2020 01:25

Thank you for that 🤗
I have been given Xyloptoct cream and Procteodsyl suppository for the fissure.
Hopefully it heals and I get back to normal.

I will take a probiotic. Am still so anxious to go sit in the toilet. Need to calm myself and not stress too much.

Thank you all again so much. xxx
