Pre-school & MMR Booster Immunisations - what side effects and when?

Hi there. Sorry if this has been done before...

DD is 3.5. She has her pre-school & mmr booster jabs a week and a half ago. She was fine on the day and then about 3 days after the jab she became very clingy and tired. This lasted for about a week.

The last couple of days she has developed a cough and last night she woke with a temperature and this morning her cheeks are very rosy.

I just wondered what kind of symptoms I should expect and what timeframe after the jabs.

DD2 (10 months) has a cold anyway so I'm not sure how much of DD2s symptoms are down to general viruses or the jabs, so knowing other people's experiences might help me.

Thanks

Sounds about right for normal reaction i would think. its usual for them to have some kind of "thing" a week or so after jabs. That combined with the fact there is a cold bug in your house.

A few years on but I have just retrieved DS1 (aged 16) from doctors after his 16+ jabs - MMR, Meningitis, anything else on offer. He felt unwell immediately after the jabs and can't move his left arm at the moment. He was warned that he might feel unwell in 7-10 days time.

Thanks LilyMaid. We are 10 days on so I'm sure that's the problem. She looks rotten though
