How to get rid of lower back pain fast :(

Like an idiot I've been sitting on the dining room chair for weeks now working from home. My lower back has started to kill me. I've tried yoga, am taking nurofen but nothing's working. Sleeping is a nightmare at the moment. I really don't want to bother the doctors right now, is there anything anyone can suggest to help it get better? I have an office chair now but I can't really tell the difference yet since it already hurts

i'd be wary of chiropractor, some can cause more problems.
try a qualified physio.

@BungleBoo I've had a few people say about the kneeling chairs - they don't look comfortable. Don't they put pressure on knees?

I'm on my 3rd slipped disc in two years so I might give one a try.
