Spotty hands?

Does anyone know what this is? My dd, 22m, seems perfectly well but has spots on her hands that look like little zits or blisters. Not many, perhaps half-a-dozen on one hand and 2 or 3 on the other. AFAIK they came up overnight.

It's ds's birthday party tomorrow - should I panic?

Hallo everyone! I'm still up on cloud 9 (and knackered! ). Everything worked out fine in the end. I called the surgery, no appointments available but dd's GP would call me back. When I got dd up from her nap most of the spots had gone, and those that were left had faded and even the blisters were virtually gone. GP said that it could still be HF&M, or it could be an allergic reaction. If the spots were still there or there were any additional symptoms, then dd would have to be kept out of the house for the duration of the party, and no, my sister (the no1 choice of baby-take-outer) wouldn't be able to take her out for the morning because she has ME and would therefore be at risk of catching it.

BUT - hooray and hoorah! - this morning the spots were barely visible and there were no new ones or other symptoms. So the party went ahead. And did it swing! I can't believe what a good time we all had!

Thank you everyone for your words of advice - and for your offer BB, though, as you must have realised, I have only just seen it!

Please, don't anyone who was at the party come down with HF&M in the next week or so! Boy will I feel guilty if that happens because I'd never know whether or not dd was the source.
