Stomach issues

Hi, just wondering if anyone has any advice? For a couple of months now, maybe since April time I've been getting really bad stomach aches which lasts hours. It comes on really suddenly and is excruciating, it travels up my back and makes me start to be sick, i start coming out in hot and cold sweats and I've fainted a few times because of the pain and sweats. It only happens about once a month, a couple of days after my period has ended. I usually can't sit down as it feels like something is stuck inside me and hurts underneath my breasts when I sit down, lying down hurts and standing up hurts. The next day it's totally gone but my insides feel bruised and when I walk around I can feel where the pain was the day before? I've phoned the doctors and they said it could be a gallbladder issue so I went to hospital to get scanned and they said everything was satisfactory. I had an episode again last night and today I just feel sore as usual but I've just gone to the toilet and there was a bit of blood in my poo😳 does anyone have any thoughts as to what this may be and if it could possibly be related to my period? I can't get into the doctors as we've gone up to tier 3, can only get a telephone appointment which isn't much help!

I hope this makes sense hahah.

Thank you in advance

I would be asking to have the functionality of your gallbladder tested. Just because you don't have stones doesn't mean it's not your gallbladder. This is what happened to me, and I had to have mine removed. The symptoms for gallstones and a failing gallbladder are the same.

Thank you for your advice, I'll give the doctors another call, they said they thought I was too young to have gallbladder issues because I'm only 23 but you can have any problems at any age🤣

Could it be trapped wind? Pain is excruciating and when I’ve had it bad I still feel like you describe the day after. Wouldn’t hurt to try Rennie’s/Peppermint tea etc when you have it to see if it helps.

I'm not sure, I could try that when it happens again and see if that helps!

I never guessed mine was trapped wind, suffered for years until I went to the GP when I had it particularly bad. Would have thought your GP would have suggested it but can’t hurt to get some Rennie Deflatine in to try.

I'm not sure if they didn't think that because it makes me be sick and I've fainted with it before and the pain generally comes from the right hand side of my abdomen
