My ds2 was sick saturday night and then again Sunday pm (All down me and on my best bra!!!). He's since had very fluid nappies and I've just changed him again and it is completely liquid. He's mainly been having crackers, bread and water although he did have some milk first thing this morning because he hadn't had a runny nappy for 16/17 hours.
How long should I let it go on before doing anything about it.

is it teething?
ds had very loose nappies when teething and 2 is about the age they get molars
as long as he eats somethign I wouldn't worry too much - my neice once lived on yoghurt for 2 weeks and the doctor said not to worry as long as she was drinking

I don't think he's teething and he is drinking plenty so I won't trek down to the docs just yet .

I'd give it at least a week. DS had something similar. He was sick once every 24 hours, and after about a week of this the runny nappies started - that lasted for another 2 weeks.

As long as he's not getting dehydrated, you're OK.

teething doesn't cause d&v.
nimnom - you're right, as long as he is drinking plenty, and you say he is eating crackers and bread, then you don't need to worry too much yet. Bananas are a good food for d&v, so is rice.

Many thanks all.
