Feeling hot sweaty/clammy and a bit shaky

It has happened on odd isolated days. But since the weekend its happened every day. Basically, i get up have my breakfast, usually go to the loo and take the dog out. When I come back in I have felt quite strange; hot, sweaty/clammy, weak, dizzy, hungry.
I thought it was maybe low blood sugar (i am not diabetic) or low blood pressure (which I have had in the past).
I am mid fifties (menopausal but its different to hot flushes), over weight and on thyroxine. I have taken my blood pressure 3 times since yesterday as DH has a blood pressure monitor. The reading just before when I was feeling bad was 150/82. I hadn’t even been out with the dog but had just been to the toilet. Does anyone know what this can be?

Are you feeling anxious at all?

Lots of things. When was your thyroid last checked?

Dehydration ...

Sorry you are feeling grim op. Fwiw, I have had a lot of ups and downs with blood sugar since menopause but best to check with your gp as it could be thyroid, hormones, blood pressure, lots of things. Ring for an appt (even a phone appt) and put your mind at rest. It's good that you are walking with the dog Flowers

Thanks have been on levothyroxine along time levels only get checked annually and Thyroid was last checked in July.

From looking at blood pressure reading although historically I had low blood pressure I think I am now in high blood pressure. I am anxious with covid situation and moody teenage daughter.

Your BP is a bit high. I don't think it's high enough for them to medicate in the U.K. As you have a monitor, try taking it a few times during the day to see if it varies, and report the results to your doctor.

Thanks will do. I know I really need to loose weight but with lock down, working from home and feeling hungry its so difficult.

Very likely anxiety linked to menopause.

First things that come to mind are diabetic hypo or anxiety. Either way, it would be a good idea to see your GP, who will be skilled at helping with both of those.
