Lumpy area in breast

Hello, I need a famous MN hug 🙁

I have a private consultation on Thursday with a breast specialist as I have an area on my right breast that just feels like it's made of various lumps bumps and gristly bits! Some smooth some more rough to the touch. Also various shapes as well, I am 8 weeks pregnant all though I think I've had this before then so don't think it's hormonal. Anyone else had something similar and it turn out to be fine?

It could be your boobs changing for pregnancy. Fingers crossed all will be ok for you!

I've had something similar about three times before. Really sore to the touch/different lumps, although I had them on both sides. Had scans each time and was told it's hormonal cysts. Please try not to worry, and remember, you're getting them checked very soon after you've noticed them!

Thanks for the reply's guys :-)

I will update on Thursday good or bad.
I've stressed myself to the point I haven't even rang the midwives yet to let them know about this pregnancy because in my head I've got BC and will need to terminate. I don't eat nor do I sleep with fear.

I've had a few manual breast exams by practice nurses and gp this year and they all said it feels like normal tissue but I had a breast augmentation done later in the year which I suspect has pushed the area of tissue further to the surface? I'm 26 by the way just turned.

At 26 it's very, very, very unlikely to be BC.

I was one of the unlucky ones, and I was also pregnant. You don't need to terminate your pregnancy for BC. They can give you surgery and chemo during pregnancy. It's hideous but it's doable. Fingers crossed that you aren't going to be in that situation but I don't want you to be thinking that you may have to choose between treatment and your baby.

Not sure if there's any point in updating this thread but just back from my scan and all is fine. Grin
