I had a temporary filling back in Lockdown and they couldn't do anything else

So what are the rules now - can they remove the temporary filling and do it properly?

My tooth is quite achy

It depends i think. Drilling causes aerosols so some places still aren't doing it. I bet some private dentists will do it though

If you’re registered with a dentist then see if they can fit you in. Patient numbers are greatly reduced because of the requirement for fallow time between aerosol generating procedures so there may be a bit of a wait for an appointment.

My private dentist rang last week to say they now started doing procedures. They were only doing visual & superficial things in July-October before that. Each surgery has own situation.

In August, Local dentists were not taking any new pts because of huge backlog with existing lists.

I'll give them a ring then, I didnt want to ask if it was impossible

Booked an appointment for next week - but my dentist has retired and I have a bit of a phobia - gulp!
