Has anyone had these procedures and know what I mean. I don't want to describe it as I am too embarrassed.
I am really fed up with the stuff coming from me. I feel dirty, smelly and I wish I was just bleeding.
I know I'm not wetting myself (no-one has made me laugh enough on mumsnet)but I am having to wear big sanitary padsdue to moisture .
oh sorry it's too discusting!!!!!!

BV - bacterial vaginosis occurs when the normal flora 'down there' are altered. It gives rise to copious amounts of a grey, watery discharge and is rather pungent. I got it after having treatment for an abnormal smear but it soon cleared up with antibiotics.

I know what you mean. Please do not feel embarrassed.

I would contact the people who carried out these procedures asap; you may have acquired an infection. Were you given a follow up appointment date with the hospital before these procedures were carried out?.

sorry about the delay
thanks for your kind words
I do have a follow up (6 weeks post op unless biopsy proves to be other than benign tissue)
I have a "massive" growth of tissue covering the whole of the cervix.I think the diathermy has stemmed the bleeding but I am unsure of its long term success or what further treatment I will be having until I see the consultant again
I am sad to say I went private as the nhs expected me to wait 8 weeks just to receive an appointment for an initial consultation (that could have been a longer time still!)
That was a scarey thought on top of feeling terrified of cancer and the bleeding driving me mad.
Feeling yukky is not the end of the world I know.
