I've had this blister on my big toe for a week. I've never had a blister here before and have been wearing the same trainers I've had for a few months, so don't think it's been caused by pinching/shoes rubbing etc.

Could I have been bitten by something?

Does anyone know if I should get this seen to (at pharmacy) or just leave it alone to heal?

Dont pop it

This is not recommended and can cause infection

Does your second toe's nail rub there?

JetBlackSteed · 11/10/2020 21:18

It looks to me like something on the second toe that's rubbing. I agree with a blister plaster and let it heal.

Does it hurt? Looks a lot like an ingrown toe nail.

I'd clean it. Then put a bit of warm cottonwool on it for 30 secs or so. Then if it looked like there was a head i would burst it with a clean needle. If you get stuff out of it then dont squeeze in to get stuff out , gently pull skin outwards.

Obviously make sure your hands are clear if you do it.
If you're diabetic don't touch it and call the nurse.
