Embarrassed about no bra during heart scan

Just that really. Felt embarrassed last time and just can’t bear the thought and need to hear im not the only one.

Thank you all very much. The last one I had was awful because the person doing it was huffing when she couldn’t get a clear picture. I did all I was meant to but she was frustrated about the tech. Wrote ‘difficult study’ on the notes which I think referred to my weight. I am overweight - size 16 and have saggy ones. So helpful to share.

It's horrible when healthcare professionals take their frustrations out on you and make you feel bad. Especially when you're in a vulnerable position.

My boobs look like basset hounds crying in the rain after pregnancy/breastfeeding. But I always tell myself that they (my boobs) are wonderful machines that have done me proud and the doctors aren't there to judge a boo or beauty pageant.

And at least I don't have beautiful pert ones that could be a distraction! 😆

None of our boobs will be the 'best' or the 'worst' they've ever seen. And, I bet, the doctors are probably more grateful that you're not a rude, mean or smelly patient than they are judging your mammaries.

Honestly they see breast that much it won't even register to them you've got them out. It's like looking at someone's hand.

It doesn’t matter if the HCP has seen thousands of breasts - if you are uncomfortable and embarrassed - you should be able to ask for some dignity and respect. HCP that huff and puff or make unnecessary personal comments should consider another career if being kind and compassionate is beyond them.
