Tips for hospital stay

I'm soon to be admitted to hospital for major abdo surgery and will be in for up to a week.
Any suggestions on what to take in with me to help make this easier ot manage?

Just wanted to check in to say thanks for the super helpful advice.

The long charging cable and eye mask were particularly helpful.
Only thing I forgot was a pen.

I'm home now and doing well.
