Hello!
I've been having diagnostic tests after my GP referred me because of having prolonged stop start periods lasting 16 days.

I've had a ultrasound which looked fine. On Monday I had a hysterocopy where he looked with a camera and also took a biopsy, smear and swabs.

He said he couldn't see ah thing to worry about.

My question is: Should I be optimistic because they haven't seen anything to worry about or does that not really mean anything? Would they normally see visual signs or cancer or not?

TIA

Anyone? I've only posted on pregnancy threads before which I guess have more traffic! Smile

I would say so. And if the biopsies or smear were to show anything suspicious, it would be early stage and contained giving much simpler treatment options.

I had a hysteroscopy biopsy and polyp removal yesterday. The Dr said she didn’t see anything concerning but obviously we have to wait for the lab results. I’m taking that as good news and don’t feel too worried. I’ve had breast cancer in the past so I do have a raised risk.

Good. Fingers crossed for you too Missy.
