Can anyone advise have they been prescribed this for difficulties sleeping? When a doctor is loathe to provide sleeping pills is this a reasonable alternative? If anyone can share their experience I'd be grateful!

@Starrr123
When I first went off it I was worried I wouldn’t sleep without it think it’s more in your head really. I had a few bad nights at first but was fine after that! I think sometimes it’s jus learning how to cope and deal with a bad night. It’s the worst thing ever I think I had PTSD after my bout of it. I still get worried what if it comes back but like I said mind over matter.

It's a tricyclic antidepressant.

It doesn’t work as an antidepressant in low doses.
