Extreme fatigue and nausea

For the past couple of days, I have felt absolutely exhausted no matter how much sleep I get.

Also experiencing a lot of nausea, ESPECIALLY in cars (I did used to get car sickness when I was younger, moved up front and it was less of an issue but it seems to be back as of late) or even at any time. I haven’t actually been sick but I’m so scared that I will be.

Also occasionally having palpitations, and during this time I do tend to get blurry vision too. This morning I could smell burnt toast but there wasn’t any actually there Hmm.

This could be completely normal (especially since this time last year was extremely hard both physically and emotionally), and I am drinking enough water so doubt it’s dehydration. Also with that I have lost my appetite slightly and often feel hungry, despite this I’ve lost weight Confused

There’s no way I could be pregnant. Doubt it’s heatstroke. I used to have blood tests and ecg’s on a regular basis but this has stopped since coronavirus. I’m unsure as to whether this is normal or if I should see a doctor? I do get health anxiety so consulted Dr Google yes I know that was very stupid and now I’m worrying a lot especially as many close people to me have recently been extremely ill.

Low iron?

Tbh I think I'd do a trip to the GP.

My first thought was pregnancy but then j had Hyperemesis and it kicked off my travel sickness again. I'd still do a test anyway because I'm paranoid.

I'd also speak to a GP. Or 111. My brother had to see a brain doctor person.... neurologist I think it was.. because he started fainting for no apparent reason. Turns out he was just growing too quickly for his body to adapt.

My point is, if these are seriously impacting and they're totally off of your normal, they need to be looked at.

My friend had similar symptoms to you and it was coronavirus. I'd strongly advise getting a test. It's very easy to do now. She's fine now btw.

What was the reason for your regular blood tests and ECGs, OP?

Could it be hyperthyroidism? This would account for tiredness, weight loss, eye problems and palpitations.

However, if all the symptoms you've listed have just appeared in the last couple of days, its probably just a virus.

Ok, so probably not a virus. It may well be anxiety, but I think you should probably see your GP, just to be sure. They may arrange blood tests - these can be done in a covid-secure manner now.
