He has been told to steer away from tea, coffee, fruit juices etc as he has an acid build-up problem causing him to have chest pains (which are being further investigated.)

He has been drinking just milk or water.. is there anything else he can have??

and fennel tea

i think milk is actually a bit acidic.

ShinyHappyPurpleSeveredHeads · 03/10/2007 12:46

Milk is acidic? I though it was stomach-calming.. as in Milk of Magnesia?

He has bought a Bottlegreen variety. Thanks SmartArse. Thanks all.

Green tea I was adviced to try this when I had shocking indegestion (got rushed to hospital once thinking I was dying )
It calmed it down a lot

InMyHumbleOpinion · 03/10/2007 12:48

mint cordial?

pyjamagirl · 03/10/2007 12:52

advised

SpawnChorus · 03/10/2007 12:56

Chocolate milk

'Tick Tock' Rooibos tea - (tastes very much like normal tea, but has no caffeine or tannin...it's lovely!! And I'm not normally a fan of weird teas)
