Every night!

For years! I can't really see without them so exes up falling asleep in them every night. Waking up now with sticky eyes.

I should stop this shouldn't I?

That's so fucking dangerous, your optician should be reading you the riot act.

Wear your glasses to bed and put them on in the morning like most people.

There are ones you can sleep in, but opticians are reticent to give them out because of the high risk to your eye health. I got them when I worked in a 999 service and did lots of on call work, but really had to beg for them.

Take your lenses out when you get undressed. Assuming you remember to do that why would you not remember to take out your lenses?

Wow! Thank you! I needed to hear this clearly!

I know it is stupid but I didn't realise it was so stupid / dangerous! My optician has been quite passive when I have said it as this has been years so I am in a bad habit.

One that will change tonight! I'll get home, take them out and look after my eyes. I am grateful I have dodged a bullet!

Will also look in to laser eye treatment....!?
